Today’s adoptable pet is one part dog, one part celebrity. While he might not be the actual spokes dog for Charlee Bear dog treats, he sure has a certain striking resemblance to the famous pup, don't you think? And he even has the same namesake.
Adoptable pet of the week, Charlie.
Name: Charlie
Breed: Poodle mix
Age: 6 years
Gender: Male, neutered
Temperament: Charlie is very well mannered and disciplined. He came from a home with older owners so he is fairly quiet and docile. He plays well with other dogs, and due to his temperament should be good around children as well.
Charlie’s story: Charlie was relinquished last week because his owners’ living situation had changed. The wife passed away and her husband, who travels quite frequently, could no longer care for Charlie.
He is very sweet and just loves to cuddle and play. He is house trained and would make a delightful addition to any family.
Sun City K9 Adoptions is open seven days a week, and can also be found at the Menifee Petco in Countryside Marketplace each Saturday and Sunday. Come check out their adoptable cuties from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm on Saturdays and on Sundays from 10 am until 2:30.
