Sun City Library Now Offers NOOK eBook Readers

Sun City Library Manager Joshua Fox, Friends of the Sun City Library President Linda Denver, along with Menifee Mayor John Denver display the new NOOK digital eBooks that are now available for check-out at the Sun City Library.

A variety of book titles are downloaded on the NOOKs and library customers may check them out just like bound, printed books. "It is the new trend", says Fox.

The Friends of the Sun City Library purchased 5 NOOK eBooks as a pilot program for the county library system. Customers are charged for the tablet through their library card if they don't return it. "Other libraries haven't had that problem, though," said Fox.
