Mt. San Jacinto College’s Menifee Valley Campus Photography Department is fortunate to have Jen Wu share her world renowned photography on Thursday, March 1, 2012,from 7-9 pm, in the assembly hall, room 927, of the Business & Technology building located at 28237 La Piedra Rd, Menifee, CA 92584. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend!
Jennifer Wu, a professional photographer since 1992, is best known for her nature, landscape and night photography. She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm and passion for nature photography in lectures and workshops for Canon. Canon publishes her spectacular sky photographs in their professional camera brochures and advertisements.
Her images, featured in numerous magazines and books, have won a wide variety of prestigious awards. Whenever she is not on nature expeditions at some of the most beautiful locations in the world, she exhibits her images at nationally recognized galleries and art shows.
“I strive to create images that evoke a mood or a chord of recognition or even a sense of longing with the viewer,” Wu explains. “Some may sense tranquility and peacefulness or perhaps powerful and vivid qualities which lead the view to make discoveries, drawing them to the next images. These dramatic landscapes are at the edge of the light of night and day as I search for exquisite and unique places.”
