Another Successful Pikin Chixs Affaire

Saturday, February 11, 2012 Motte Barn was home to Pikin' Chixs second annual Affaire at the Barn. Through the big red barn doors, dozens of vendors showcased their vintage and handmade goods to hundreds of happy collectors and patrons.


Booths ranged from hand-sewn linens made from vintage cloth and housewares both vintage and reinvented, to pretty headbands and intricate accessories. New vendors at the Affaire offered impressive collections of vintage clothing, featuring furs, fancy shoes, party dresses, purses, and every day apparel.



Vendors and customers agreed this second ever barn event was a huge highlight in the weekend. But perhaps the biggest success were the donations and awareness raised for the Mini Pearls Foundation.

Cute little girls all dressed in matching pink tees, and ready to work for their cause, sold beautifully displayed cupcakes and lemonade to benefit the Mini Pearls' local endeavors.

Overall their efforts raised several hundred dollars they will put towards providing help and offering hope, as their main mission so optimistically states.
