Arts Council Menifee will be hosting a free reception on Sunday, February 26 from 2-4 p.m. at the Kay Ceniceros Center on Newport Rd. The event is open to the public and will feature writers, live performances and displays of artwork by local fine artists.
Area musicians, artists, writers and performers of all kinds are especially invited to come network at this special event, along with everyone who wants to celebrate and support Menifee's growing local arts scene.
There will be opportunities to win valuable door prizes, including tickets for South Coast Repertory.
Attendees at the reception will learn about the Council's plans, make suggestions, and can get involved with the group.
Established in 2010, the Arts Council Menifee is dedicated to supporting the visual arts, music, theater, dance, film, poetry and literature. Normal meetings are held the 4th Thursday of each month at the Sun City Library, at 5:30 pm.

Speaking as a professional artist as well as manager of Painted Earth Studio in Menifee, I am so pleased to see greater visibility of the arts in our community. We have many gifted local artists, and even more aspiring, motivated folks that would benefit from some direction. I'd love to see opportunities for our local artists to get exposure.
