We start off the New Year with newly adoptable pets from Sun City K9 Adoptions. Thanks to such a compassionate community, over the course of last year, Sun City adopted out hundreds of dogs and cats in 2011 alone.
If you are looking for a furry friend, always think about adoption first. There are so many wonderful animals who end up homeless under unfortunate circumstances, but would make loving family pets nonetheless. The animals would like to thank you from the bottom of each and every one of their little pet hearts.
Adoptable pet of the week, Murphy.
Name: Murphy
Age: 7 years
Breed: Mini poodle mix
Gender: Male, neutered
Temperament: This little guy is extremely loving and affectionate. The moment you sit down, he will find his way onto your lap and nestle in for a cuddle.
He is a people dog and responds well to lots of love and attention. He likes to play and gets along well with other dogs and children too.
Murphy’s story: Murphy was relinquished to Sun City K9 because his owner was no longer able to care for him. He is having fun with the new friends he has made in the kennel but would really love to find a forever home.
The pets at Sun City K9 belonged to families at one time or another and really just want to be loved. If you are interested in volunteering your time to love, cuddle, and play with the animals please contact the rescue.
SCK9 exists by the support and volunteerism of the community and appreciates any form of contribution you can give. They have some great fundraising projects planned for 2012, be sure to check back often for updates and details.
