Sun City K9 Adoptable Pet of the Week

It is so cold out this morning in Menifee, at 34 degrees even our pet of the week has her socks on, so to speak. This adorable little black pup has brown paws and ears and is ready to cozy up with you for New Years.

Age: 2 years

Breed: Mixed

Gender: Female, spayed

Temperament: Socks is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle. She is perfect for a one-dog household.

While she plays well with other dogs, she tends to get jealous if you hug another dog more than her.


Socks’s story: Socks was found roaming the streets in Menifee. Due to her initially defensive and skittish nature, it was determined she may have been abused in her prior home.

She went from being scared in the streets to feeling secure at Sun City K9 in no time at all. She has warmed up nicely to her temporarily home, but would really love to find her forever family.
