As December progresses there are more and more opportunities to give back. Giving a homeless dog a new home is one of the many ways you can help.
Since a good percentage of the dogs that find themselves at Sun City K9 Adoptions were previously members of loving and caring homes they are well adjusted to family life, therefore making them excellent house pets.
For your peace of mind, each dog is already spayed or neutered when you take them home. Some are even house broken and partially or fully cue trained from their previous family. A perfect pet for a holiday gift.
Adoptable pet of the week, Chewy.
Name: Chewy
Breed: Terrier mix
Age: 1 year
Gender: Male, neutered.
Temperament: Chewy is very spirited and affectionate. He loves to have his belly scratched and will play with you on the floor for hours. Because of all the love and care his owners gave him, he is a little bit spoiled and tends to get jealous when he's not the center attention. For this reason, he would make a good only pet.
Chewy’s Story: Chewy’s adoring family reluctantly relinquished him in June to Sun City K9. The family's son developed severe asthma and allergies, so the furry little guy had to go. He would love to come home with you to help make your holidays lively and fun.
All animals are available for adoption seven days a week at their Murrieta Road facility. Select smaller dogs and cats are shown every Saturday from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm and on Sundays from 10 am until 2:30 pm at the Countryside Marketplace Petco.
There are many ways to help Sun City K9 through volunteering and donations. And as a reminder, when you eat at the Beer Hunter they will donate 5% of your bill to the K9 Adoptions if you simply mention “K9 Adopt” to you waiter or waitress.

I would LOVE to adopt Chewy... we have a VERY loving family... and Chewy would fit perfectly with us... but its Christmas and we just don't have the monies that you require to adopt a pet.... if he doesnt get adopted out we would love to foster him.... we have monies to care for our pets... just not the cash flow to pay for adoption fees...VickiNardone@gmail.com
