The Arts Council Menifee is pleased to present incomparable performers at the Inaugural Tree Lighting Event at Menifee City Hall on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 5 pm.
Those artists are:
- For the 5 p.m. Santa visit, a Children's Choir led by Laura Leedahl, Arts Council Menifee's music director.
- In the lobby at 6 p.m. a local painter Kathy Pickett will display a Christmas themed watercolor.
- Also at 6 p.m., visitors will be treated by the talents of the MSJC Guitar Ensemble, led by Bob Bozonelos, playing Holiday selections in the Council Chambers.
During the event, hosted by The City of Menifee and its supportive partner, the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce, donations will be accepted of non-perishable/canned food items to stock the shelves of the Menifee Community Cupboard and new, unwrapped toys for the “Spark of Love” Toy Drive.

It is great to see Menifee-area artists getting support and recognition locally. Area residents and their families should take time to enjoy this music-filled ceremony, along with various high school plays and other endeavors throughout the year.
