The holiday season is upon us once again, and this year especially many people in our community need your help. The Beta Delta Omega chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Mt. San Jacinto College is holding its Annual Holiday Food and Toy Drive until Thursday, December 15th. They are collecting holiday gifts as well as food for MSJC students, employees, and local residents in need.
During the food and toy drive there will be boxes on campus in the locations listed below, where the chapter will be collecting non-perishable food items, gifts for young adults, toys for children of all ages, and food and toys for family pets. The goal is to provide families in need with all of the gifts and food items needed for a joyful holiday meal and celebration. Additionally, this year Phi Theta Kappa is also giving you a chance to adopt a child using the tags on the trees attached to our donation boxes. Take the time to make a young person’s holiday season a bit brighter!
The chapter has also collaborated with youth at the local juvenile hall to brighten up the college. These youth have taken the time to decorate the donation boxes around campus through a partnership with the F.A.C.E. (Full Art Comprehensive Education) outreach program.
Here are the locations for the carious donation boxes located on each MSJC campus.
