Loma Linda University Medical Center Hosts Free Heart Health Event

To comply with part of their hospital’s mission statement and “To Continue the Teaching and Healing Ministry of Jesus Christ”, the Loma Linda University Medical Center is offering their first ever free community heart health event.

This event is scheduled to occur on November 17, from 10a.m.-11:30 a.m. in the Temecula Room. A schedule has already been created for the occasion, and includes several different sections, including:

-A Welcome & Introduction
-Personal Testimonial from Greg Powers
-Cardiology Presentation by Dr. Sanjay Bhojraj
-Vascular Presentation by Dr. Allen Chan
Open Heart Surgery Presentation by Dr. Rasi and Dr. Holland
-Nutrition Presentation by Kareen Turner and team members from Dietary
-Health Screenings by Dr. Steele, including BMI and Blood Pressure

The Medical Center will also be providing light refreshments and heart healthy snacks for the attendees.
