The holidays are a time for feeling thankful for what we have and giving back to those less fortunate. In the flurry of food drives and toy donations Animal Friends of the Valleys asks you to remember all of the sheltered furry friends who could use your generosity too.
With Thanksgiving right around the corner Friends of the Valleys is facilitating a canned food drive for the animals. Their stock supply is running low, causing an urgent need for canned kitten and cat food and canned puppy and adult dog food.
Donations can be dropped off at the AFV shelter during normal business hours and at specified Petco locations. The Temecula Petco on Winchester Road, behind Sears, is accepting donations in the marked donation bin at the front of their store.
Friends of the Valleys would like to thank the community for their continued support including all of the canned food and cozy blankets already brought in to the shelter. And the animals thank you for your contributions that keep them so comfy while they are waiting to find new homes.
