Animal Friends of the Valleys (AFV) has long been providing animal adoptions, services, and education to a wide spread of the Inland Valleys including Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, and Wildomar.
As a non-profit organization they are most interested in providing optimum service to their community with the maximum aide for animals spanning these areas. In an effort to more fully and accessibly serve adopting hopefuls, in addition to their current hours, AFV will now be open one Sunday every month as well.
Their first “Paws on Sunday” adoption kicks off this Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 pm., and will continue on the third Sunday of each month. While Friends of the Valleys offers an array of services, these special Sundays will be solely reserved for adoptions only.
Additionally, November is adopt a senior pet month. Adoption fees will be waived for any senior resident over the age of 60, adopting a senior dog over 5 years old. AFV seeks to make the adoption process as seamless and available to the public as possible.
Come on out this Sunday, and see what Animal Friends of the Valleys can do for you.
