Adoptable pet of the week, Gina.
Name: Gina
Breed: Dachshund/basset hound mix
Age: 5
Gender: Female
Temperament: Gina is the very definition of a family dog. At five years of age she is an exceedingly sweet natured and nurturing pet.
Her small size and loving personality makes her the perfect companion for the whole family. She is especially great with children of all ages and other dogs too.
She loves to spend her days playing inside and out. Her very favorite game just happens to be anything involving a tennis ball, preferably fetch.
Gina’s Story: Gina was relinquished to Sun City K9 by her owner back in September. Her family had a new baby who was sick and required a lot of care, in the end they didn't have the time or the resources to care for both of them.
She is used to being a part of the family and will fit right in to any loving home.
Sun City K9 Adoptions, located on Murrieta Road in Sun City, is open for adoptions seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
They also host adoptions each weekend at the nearby Petco in Menifee Country Marketplace, every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
