Sun City K9 Adoptions and Menifee 24/7 have joined to bring our readers the Pet of the Week. Sun City K9 offers displaced and/or abandoned pets for adoption.
Pet of the Week, Bruno.
Dog’s name: Bruno
Breed: Rottweiler mix
Age: 7 years old
Temperament: He’s really just a big ole teddy bear. Very loving and playful, he likes to play outside and run around but won’t pass up the chance for a cool nap in the shade.
Story: Bruno came to Sun City K9 and made quick friends with a lovely dog named Lady. They would spend hours running and playing together in the rescue’s exercise yard. Eventually Lady was adopted and Bruno immediately became very depressed.
He wouldn’t play or eat; he wouldn’t even come out of his kennel. Over time he came around and is now back to his loving, happy self. Elizabeth Martin, founder of Sun City K9, says Bruno has been her happiness for many years and he deserves a good home. She would love nothing more than to see him happy and loved.
Bruno and many other canine companions are available for adoption seven days a week. Stop by and play for a little, you’ll be very glad you did.
Sun City K9 also conveniently facilitates adoptions at the nearby Petco in Menifee Country Marketplace. Every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., come on over and find a new friend.
This no-kill shelter is always in need of financial support. Contact them for information about making your tax deductible donation by calling 951.679.6444.
