John Denver Named Menifee's Vice Mayor

John Denver was voted in as the city's newest Vice Mayor.

The vote was made unanimous by city council members earlier this evening.

Denver takes over for Fred Twyman, who served as the previous Vice Mayor until his death last June. Prior to Fred Twyman, Darcy Kuenzi served as the Mayor Pro Tem.

Tom Fuhrman made the original motion to nominate Denver into the position saying, "I hope there is a little bit of Fred Twyman in him to represent this city."
