Cherry Hills Farmers Market, Success on a Friday

On any given Friday from the hours of 9 am until 1 pm you will find a wide array of energetic vendors eager to retail their locally grown fruit, freshly baked bread, or other signature specialty. Cherry Hills Certified Farmers Market boasts over fifty five vendor booths offering everything from farm fresh produce to hand crafted goods.

Introduced last summer to the Sun City Shopping Center, this seedling of a farmer’s market grew from an initial count of merely thirteen booths to over quadruple in size in just one year. In addition to the fantastic vendors, the market manager attributes its success to selecting a favorable day, a Friday.

As the fall and subsequent holiday season approaches the farmers market is moving in to their historically “busy” season. Crafters pull out all the stops in creating gift worthy items and certified farmers continue to put forward seasonally delicious provisions in anticipation of this increased customer traffic.
