Last night, members of the Riverside Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit arrested Walter Morales Cortez, a 22-year-old Meadowbrook resident, for the murder of a 16-year-old juvenile male and the attempted murder of a second juvenile male. Walter Morales Cortez was later booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.

A second Hispanic male juvenile was located with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, and was transported to a local area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Detectives from the Menifee Police Department and investigators from the Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation.

I can remember the time where in Menifee, you could leave your car windows down at night, leave your windows open and your front doors unlocked. You could say good morning and goodnight to your neighbors. There were baby showers and weddings at the park with no worry whatsoever of ANY criminal activity. Now we have MURDERS in Menifee? I'm MOVING ASAP.
ReplyDeleteAnd where do you plan on moving to? Heaven?
ReplyDeleteNo city is crime free. While this is disturbing, I won't pack just yet.
I think if the county would put more street lights in Romoland that would help with all the violence. The streets are pitch black at night, and people should not be afraid to come out there houses at night.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 11:55am, when was that 1950? My guess on this crime is these two 16yr old's stole somebody else's drugs, I'm surprised we didn't see 'heads roll'.(sorry, couldn't help myself)When you have cartels out of Perris driving to Arizona and beheading a man for doing the same crime. Be alert! Get involved and, report crime, and stop pretending like 11:55am that life is still stuck in 1950 and Menifee has no crime...it does!
ReplyDeleteSun City is still safe.

John16:1-4. 1 ''All this I have told you so. 2 They will put you out of the synagogue;in fact a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God. 3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. 4 I have told you this,so that when the time comes you will remember that I warned you. I did not tell you this at first because I was with you..
ReplyDelete"A family member told investigators that Adrian and Cortez are affiliated with rival neighborhood gangs"
ReplyDeleteEnough said.
