The Sun City Library is inviting the public to participate in reading the book, Is There Really a Human Race? by Jamie Lee Curtis in the language of your choice for a film project with our Flip Video Cameras. The film will be premiered at the Summer Reading Club’s One World, Many Stories kickoff event featuring Scott Land’s Marionettes.
Is There Really a Human Race? is about a child who doesn’t understand the concept of a human race and wants to know what it is. It then takes the turn of the mother who encourages the child to be himself. Participants do not have to read the entire book, only a sentence or two and a written up copy of the book is available at the Information Desk.
Filming will be on Saturday, April 16th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Community Room. Participants amy sign up at the Information Desk to participate. A signed photo/video release form is required to participate and will can be filled out at the time of shooting.
