On March 8th , local businesses will “Give Back to Fight Back” against cancer by sponsoring a great shopping day in Menifee. Shops from Bradley & Newport to Bradley & McCall will band together to give a portion of their proceeds, donations and gift certificates back to the American Cancer Society's signature event Relay For Life. Please look for all the shops displaying purple balloons on that day, and support them with your business!
“March 8th will be a great day to shop on Bradley Road and fight cancer at the same time,” said Jackie Seevers, a volunteer on the Relay For Life of Menifee planning committee.
A Relay For Life information booth will be set up at Giovanni’s Pizza and Pasta, who will give back portion of their proceeds for the day. Al’s Jewelers, The Hair Studio, and PJ’s Toy Box will also donate a portion of their earnings that day.
Other businesses are making an outright donation, including Sun City Coin, Ed’s Coins, Ronnie’s Resale and Gift Boutique, Pete’s Music, B & B Auto and Tires, and The Flooring Company. Gift certificates will be donated by 5 Star Nails, Mom & Pop’s Frame Shop, Menifee Transmission, Wigs of Rome, and Tri City Smog. Menifee Valley Taekwondo will offer class open to the public starting at 7:30 p.m. for $5.00.
