Tom Fuhrman is scheduled to be sworn in as the sixth person ever to be seated as a Menifee City Councilman, this Tuesday, December 7th, 2010, at 7:00pm.
Fuhrman defeated incumbent Scott Mann for the 2nd District seat last November 2 by a final vote of 1,642 to 1,044.
Mann will be giving a departing speech.
John Denver will also be sworn in for his second term, beating out candidates Carol Sullivan and Anne Pica, by a final vote of 2,077 to 1,163 to 1,111 respectively.
Don Vesey, who was Mann's appointee to the City Planning Commission, will be presented with a thanks after stepping down in accordance with Mann's departure.
Prior to the city council meeting, there will be a Crime Watch Presentation starting at 6:00pm.
