I received the following e-mail from Lanie Dikitanan about her son trying to raise money for the American Heart Association...
Hello,
My son Bailey is a student at Ridgemoor Elementary. He is in the 5th grade. He has been participating in the San Diego American Heart Walk for over 10 years now. In the past few years, he has taken more responsibility with helping our team grow, fundraising ideas, and inspiring others to be involved. In fact, you guys did a story on his friend Michael Fritchman, who once walked on our team and decided to start a team of his own.
My son is taking on a huge project and I am helping him get the word out because I think it is a great idea and can really make a difference in our community. Bailey started a recycling drive at Ridgemoor's (proceeds go to the heart walk) Teacher Lounge and also at Yamashita Karate, Inc. We are hoping that if more local businesses or residents hear about Bailey's drive, it will get more people involved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for putting this out there! We have had a few families who are donating their recyclables to the cause!
