If you were driving anywhere in Menifee yesterday, you would have seen plumes of smoke rising into the sky coming from the Bundy Canyon area. Not to worry, as bad as the smoke looked, they were small fires that were put out before they caused any major damage.

ReplyDeleteThis should be a Wake up call to all of us living in Menifee. Considering that one of the fires was a dead grass fire!!! With all of the foreclosures in our area there is alot of dead lawns in our neighborhoods. Maybe we should be proactive and take the few extra minutes when mowing our lawns to set the mower on the lowest cut heights and cut the dead lawns down? These few minutes of time on our parts could possibly prevent the loss of our homes.
