Roberta O. submitted the following all-points bulletin on her missing cat...
we lost our cat on June 5 about 2 weeks ago, we live in Tierra Shores, Menifee. His name is GPAWS and he is a grey w/little stripes and white paws. He is neutered and wore purple flea collar and black bell color we miss him and would like to know is you have seen him, if so, write me at rosunafamily1@aol.com
If you keep your cat indoors and he just escaped this time, I hope you find it. If you don't normally keep it indoors, I hope...
ReplyDeleteTo many cats running around in this community. I have considered getting traps and getting rid of them. Remember, the community guidelines address cats being secured at all times as well as dogs.
I don't like them on my property. If I see them, I just throw rocks at 'em.
Hey that's not very nice!!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I have seen many a Coyote running down the streets in Menifee and sadly that may be were those lost pets are going. I just saw a Coyote running along Menifee Road the other night right next to the new "Lakes" across from La Paloma Park. They get hungry and thristy too.
But good luck to the Person who lost their Pet. I hope it turns out good for you.
I don't like you in my community, post you address so I can throw rocks at you. What an Ahole.
ReplyDeleteHow mean-spirited some people can be ! This family is looking for its loved cat and there may be little kids missing their pet! I hope it has not come into your mean path ! I'd rather see a cat looking around than to have rats taking over! Again...where is your compassion for this family?
ReplyDeleteWe just came back from posting pictured signs of a beautiful little dog we rescued from the middle of busy Newport & Menifee Roads. It may have followed some children to school. Please, if you recognize this little dog, alert the owner to the signs. It appears some family has well cared for this pet. Look for the signs posted around the area we found it. And, please, you mean spirits, spare me your comments.
ReplyDeleteHi, I am trying to touch base with the folks who found the dog - I am currently in Riverside and can't go look for the flyers. I am missing a female Miniature Pinscher, black & tan and am wondering if this might be her? I live in Menifee Lakes which is where she got out of. Please contact me with details about the found dog - pamala@mvhumanesociety.org or 951-258-4667 THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteMy indoor cat got out last year when there was some unusual neighborhood commotion. I totally combed the area and insensitive people time and time again mentioned coyotes and were not too encouraging. However, after 1 week and leaving a way open for her to get into the house by herself she showed up! Happy Ending. So, I do pray you have a similiar ending.
ReplyDeleteHello Pamela: This little canine is not a Min-Dobe, but best of luck with your search ! No calls yet as to the owner of this one; hopefully this weekend will bring results.
ReplyDeletePardon me for offending anyone about my "Coyote" comment. It was meant to remind people that they are out there and our little pets can easily become their prey. So please don't take offense, just try your best to keep those little quys in the house where they are safe from rock throwing nut cases, and nature's coyotes!!
ReplyDeleteIt may be a hard thing to hear when your beloved pet is missing, but reality bites!
TODAY IS A HAPPY DAY ! The little dog we rescued from the middle of Newport last Friday has been reunited with her family ! Thanks to the schoolkids this morning, they had taken it upon themselves to watch for signs looking for this beautiful little dog and even carried the phone number with them to help reunite the dog to its owners. Most rewarding of all was seeing a little toddler get excited when we took her home...he has his litte "Sophie" back and she was equally excited. Please make certain your pet has a collar and ID on it; no matter how careful we are, with children opening doors, animals have a way of getting out and lost at times. Our streets have become so busy its dangerous for humans, much less wandering pets. Oh, please, no mean comments from ornery people.
ReplyDeleteA GREAT BIG THANK YOU to the folks who took in lil lost Sophie and cared for her until her owners could be found - I wish everyone were like you! Most people just drive by misplaced animals and pretend not to see them or think that 'someone else' will take care of it. :( Our Ally girl (lost Min Pin) still hasn't made her way home but I am not giving up hope. She was wearing a collar and tags but either it came off or whoever has her is disregarding it. Thanks again for caring enough to watch over Sophie! Sincerely, Pamala
